The Zebra FXP20 Point of Sale Fixed RFID Reader is a fixed RFID reader designed specifically for retail environments. The FXP20 incorporates both an antenna and a reader into one compact, consolidated device that is easy to deploy and configure at the point of sale. Adjustable visual and auditory signals provide instant feedback for successful scans, making it ideal for both staffed checkouts and self-checkouts, as well as inventory control and loss detection for retail operations. The FXP20 functions as a simple pad reader on any available work surface, while an included, optional adapter plate enables the unit to sit flush within a flat counter. The FXP20 integrates quickly and easily into checkout counters and other retail control points. The FXP20 is equipped with 3 external antenna ports, enabling a single FXP20 to read across multiple checkout stations through external antennas. After connecting its USB cable to the existing point-of-sale system, Zebra’s RFID tools, APIs and SDKs help walk users through any necessary configuration steps with easy-to-understand menus and built-in tutorials.
