The Zebra DS5502-SR Corded Fixed Mount Scanner is a compact and versatile scanner that easily incorporates into retail counters, self-service stations, ticketing kiosks, contactless pickup lockers, boarding gates and more. The DS5502-SR can read 1D or 2D barcodes, printed or mobile, even on dimly lit screens. The megapixel sensor in the DS5502-SR delivers a 184% increase in resolution when compared to the previous generation Zebra DS457. The flat face of the DS5502-SR imager can be mounted flush with walls and counters for a clean look, and the standard quarter-inch camera mount on the bottom of the scanner enable the use of an endless amount of third-party mounting accessories. The DS5502-SR supports both RS232 and USB, enabling the DS5502-SR to stay in use as systems migrate from RS232 to USB.
NOTE: The DS5502-SR Scanner is unavailable with UHF RFID technology. This scanner reads 1D and 2D barcodes, but does not have UHF capabilities.
