rf IDEAS WAVE ID® Plus IP67 PoE Surface Mount LF/HF RFID Reader

The rf IDEAS WAVE ID Plus maximizes the value of new and existing ID badges by providing simultaneous processing of contactless and proximity smart cards. The WAVE ID Plus can read HID LF tags and HF tags making it an ideal reader for organizations transitioning to HF badges. The surface mount variant features 2 mounting holes and can be easily mounted with 2 screws almost anywhere. This reader uses power over Ethernet (PoE) to receive both power and communication.

This WAVE ID Plus is a keystroke model with a keyboard wedge emulator. On keystroke equipped readers, data read from ID cards is output to the cursors location on the screen. This multi-technology reader delivers flexibility to any customer, integrator, or end user struggling with different card technologies.

This WAVE ID Plus is IP67 compliant, meaning that this reader is completely protected against the ingress of dust as well as water at a depth of 1 m (3 ft) for up to 30 minutes. The IP67 Rating of this reader makes it an ideal choice for LF and HF outdoor access control. The WAVE ID Plus is fully customizable and easy to configure, allowing for seamless integration into an existing system while providing the ability to increase security and access control. The rf IDEAS WAVE ID Plus Reader is great for various access control applications, and finds itself naturally suited for industries such as healthcare, government, manufacturing, and commercial enterprises.
