The Honeywell Granit XP 1990iXR Corded Ultra-Rugged FlexRange Scanner is capable of reading both 1D and 2D barcodes across a wide range of distances and environments. With the ability to read small codes within inches of the scan window to 100 mil rack labels from up to 10 m (33 ft) away, the Granit XP 1990iXR offers the ideal blend of near-field scanning and extended range scanning. As a member of the Granit family of scanners, the 1990iXR is built to withstand the varied demands of harsh working environments. Featuring a small and deeply recessed scan window, the 1990iXR is designed to prevent device failures caused by damage to the scan window. The 1990iXR is IP67 rated and is built to survive 7,000 tumbles from 1 m (3.3 ft), 50 drops to concrete from 2 m (6.5 ft), and drops off of forklifts and trucks from 3 m (10 ft). As a result, operations that deploy Granit scanners can expect to experience minimal device downtime and a lower overall cost of ownership.
NOTE: The Granit XP 1990iXR Scanner is unavailable with UHF RFID technology. This scanner reads 1D and 2D barcodes, but does not have UHF capabilities.
